My Goals and Future plans

Music is my heartbeat.  I am most at home on the stage and know that musical performance will always be an important part of my life. I am excited to explore what role music will play for me personally and professionally through collegiate training. I am currently a proud member of the University of Alabama Million Dollar Marching Band and the University of Alabama Concert Band.

I have written 6 books on leadership, music, and patriotism for young readers.  These books are available on Amazon.com under the series title  "Am I a Princess?" and the individual titles "Patriot Princess" and "The Magic of a Marching Band".  To me, a princess is a leader.  I would like to see these books in elementary schools and libraries and ultimately I would like to expand my creative writing further. 

Through my partnership with The Empowerment Foundation, I have had the pleasure of creating and leading a youth video initiative focused on leadership. I would like to see this program expanded to bring more leadership stories to youth throughout the world. My experiences with leadership training programs like, the University of Alabama Honors College and the Robert E. Witt University Fellows (freshman year), as a Director in the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority at the University of Alabama, Florida Girls State, HOBY, Youth Leadership Pinellas, and the Florida Senate Page program have further deepened my commitment to being an effective leader.

I am a proud member of the Children of the American Revolution (CAR). My family has many patriots that fought for the freedoms I enjoy.  My grandfather is a Veteran and I am overwhelmed with pride every time I see one of our precious American symbols.  In everything I do, I strive to honor my heritage and learn from the past in order to craft an impactful and optimistic future.
